I became disabled after sustaining an injury while on the job in July. I contacted my mortgage company right away and informed them that I was injured and asked if there was any type of assistance that they could proved. They assured me that the only help I could receive from them would be a forbearance of three months then maybe a loan modification if my circumstances had not changed.
